Misunderstandings are common but when they react to those misunderstandings with anger, they seem to be never ending.
When Piyali and Parul were school friends they often wrote small chit notes to each other, ate each other’s tiffin and play together.
One day a chit message came to them which had two different notes. To Piyali it was a note against Parul and to Parul it was vice versa. Piyali and Parul were not able to communicate properly with each other after their exams and one day finally they discussed the matter. At some point of time both believed that note. After discussing though they had that message in their mind and soon started competing with each other.
Their communication gradually kept decreasing. After their school life they didn’t had a talk….
20 years later
Piyali and Parul met at their child’s school in the parent teacher meet. They still remembered those misunderstandings and didn’t talk but both smiled at each other.
They both thought that if the other starts conversation, then we would clear all those matters due to which they took offence. Neither of them came forward.
When Piyali’s son informed her that Parul was unwell, she felt the need to leave behind all the misunderstandings, anger, expectations and rushed to see her. They had a communication then and that went on for the whole day. Soon Piyali recovered and both rejoiced their friendship.
Friendship is a strong bond that never ends no matter how many misunderstandings it may contain.
