Creating Positive Change: Marpu Foundation’s Impactful CSR and Sustainable Development Projects

Kindness is often forgotten and neglected in the fast-paced world we live in. However, those small acts of kindness can have a huge impact on your life and can make you happier than you could imagine.

Marpu Foundation has boosted CSR efforts and supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it mainly focuses on the positive change the world receives through their campaigns and the volunteering projects. It actively engages the youth to help people have better lives in their near future by cleaning the environment, creating awareness about sustainable development goals, and performing various other activities which are discussed below.

• Affordable and Clean Energy: Energy generation needs a huge expense, but we here at Marpu took a step to raise funds and provide the facility of renewable energy to people of remote areas through solar panels and teaching people to make best use of it, that too without harm to the environment. This step reduces the chances of disturbed climatic change due to pollution, contributing to a global issue.
• Conducting free surgeries for people: Marpu foundation recently helped people with free eye surgeries as an act of charity. This step encourages people to help people in need and donate for the wellbeing of people who are not financially strong.
• Planting and maintaining saplings: Everybody must have planted a sapling once in a lifetime at least. The main responsibility is to look after the sapling with the vision of another creature on the Earth which needs care and time to grow. Marpu Foundation takes initiative and conducts regular plantation drives and checkup of the saplings till they grow into a healthy tree.
• Quality education and holistic development: Marpu foundation conducts regular art competitions, various other competitions and awareness sessions at different schools with underprivileged students and encourages their hope in being educated and bring a change in their surroundings.
• Swipe away hunger: Hunger killed many children and villagers. Some suffered from malnutrition whereas others due to malnutrition weren’t able to fight diseases. Marpu foundation helps those children and their families to combat hunger and turn out to be an asset for the country. They are encouraged to learn and change the condition they faced for the upcoming generations. The aim is to abolish poverty and reduce suffers to a large extent.
